Earth Hour 2009: Vote Earth… Your light switch is your vote!On March 28,
you can VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour. Or, you can vote global warming by leaving your lights on.
The results of the election are being presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. This meeting will determine official governmental policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol.
It is a chance for the PEOPLE to make their voice heard! We want one billion votes for EARTH, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against global warming. None of us are as powerful as all of us. Check out the Earth Hour website at www.voteearth2009.org Watch the “Earth Hour: The Huge Turn Off with Janeane Garofalo HERE. Thanks for promoting Earth Hour! Another way you can recruit people to the cause is by creating a Earth Hour group on Commit21.com. Simply create a group about one action that you will commit to do for Earth Hour and recruit your friends, family, and co-workers to get involved in that action as well. When it comes to climate change, simple actions can make huge differences and Commit21 leverages social media to influence networks of friends, family, and co-workers.
